WORLD TOURISM DAY - 27/09/2022
MEETING - HARITHA NATURE CLUB
Haritha Nature Club decided to conduct one day field visit on 25th August 2022. Meenvallam and Dhoni waterfalls of Palakkad district are the destinations included.
Meenvallam waterfalls - originated from Thuppanadu river- part of western Ghats- these falls drop step by step from a height of 5 to 45 meters.
Dhoni - reserve forest just about 12km from Palakkad town.

ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ എസ് എസ് ട്രെയിനിങ് കോളേജിൽ ബേർഡ്സ് ക്ലബ്ബ് ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പ്രശസ്ത സിനിമ സംവിധായകനും ക്ലബ് സ്ഥാപകനുമായ ജയരാജ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. ബേർഡ്സ് ക്ലബ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോ. അഭിലാഷ്. ആർ അധ്യക്ഷപദം അലങ്കരിച്ച ചടങ്ങിനു ക്ലബ്ബ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോ. അനു. എസ് സ്വാഗതവും കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ. അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ്, ഐ ക്യു എ സി കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോ. കെ. എസ് സാജൻ തുടങ്ങിയവർ ആശംസകളും അർപ്പിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.

WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY OBSERVANCE
World Nature Conservation Day is an annual event held on July 28 to stress the need for preserving and thus conserving a healthy environment and natural resources to maintain a stable and healthy equilibrium of nature. World Nature Conservation Day primarily aims to conserve flora and fauna which are on the edge of extinction ,together with conserving various other elements on earth. In addition ,it also, underlines the need for preserving the environment for future generations. Haritha Nature Club observed , World Nature Conservation Day -28th July, 2022.
PROGRAMMES; Classroom cleaning ,Campus cleaning and beautification campaign , an initiative performed by all B.Ed optional students as a part of Swachhta Activities in connection with nature conservation which advocates living sustainably in harmony with nature, coordinated by Haritha Nature Club.
The session “Leave your Footprints” , include various activities performed by B.Ed and M.Ed students. With in this, 'ധാരിണി’, dance performance by MEd first year based on World Environment Day theme 2022 was performed followed by inaugural ceremony. As a cultural event it addresses the worst conditions created by human towards the Earth. Also interpreting nature via photography was performed by M.Ed second year.
Further activities under this session include :
Campus Mapping
It deals with mapping outdoor classroom possibility- an initiative to rebuild healthy open outdoor spaces. It was organized by B.Ed Social Science.
Reinforce greenery on campus
This activity was be performed by B.Ed English and is overwhelmed with an eco-friendly approach to plant seedling in biodegradable materials – which eventually concern the health of ecosystem.
Documentary
The documentary dealing with sustainable development with in the campus was created by B.Ed Natural science- it deals with the concept of environmental equilibrium which will further paved to sustainable development goals.
Think Green - Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
The initiative of waste management – Reuse, Reduce, Recycle will be performed by B.Ed Physical science which will be an initiative towards the phrase zero waste within in campus.
നാമ്പ്- Campus video
The video deals with the explanations about green decisions in campus and was performed by B.Ed Malayalam.
Floriculture in earthen pots
This activity was organized by B.Ed Mathematics, which obviously enhance the aesthetic value of campus.
Along with these activities which leave footprints,‘സൃഷ്ടി’ - nature’s workshop will be organised for Haritha nature club members. For taking positive environmental actions to conserve natural resources and planet Earth , Hartitha nature club programme intends to advance environmental protection as strong decision and hence these activities on campus rehabilitate the environment.
Seed Exhibition was conducted on 7th June 2022 to emphasize the importance of nurture the nature by our own actions. Principal , Dr.Ampili Aravind inaugurated the session. Seed distribution, like saplings will be done according with google form registration details titled "Let's keep planting seeds". Students of NSSKPTVHSS visited the exhibition.
